Rooted in Love, Regal in Celebration: Our Story

It started with a mutual friend, a game night, and a coincidentally perfect T-shirt. In 2021, Devin walked into Stephanie’s apartment wearing a Powerline shirt—only to find Stephanie owned the exact same one. Between the tacos, the games, and Devin’s easy charm, a month-long streak of inseparable days began. From meeting Sophie the cat to a first date at La Mar Cocina Peruana in San Francisco, they realized quickly that this was the real deal. They became "official" on Father’s Day 2021, just moments before Stephanie was introduced to the whole family at a round of mini-golf. Now, exactly five years later, they are celebrating their anniversary by becoming husband and wife on June 20, 2026. Devin and Stephanie have traveled the world together, taking note of the privilege it is to experience different cultures and take in the scenery everywhere they go. They have experienced a love for reasonable adventure together, from hikes through the forest, to doors-off helicopter rides over the Na'pali coast. The road to the altar led through the desert. For Stephanie’s birthday, Devin planned a trip to a Mustang Sanctuary in Joshua Tree. After an afternoon of petting rescue goats and chickens (including a baby goat named Theo!), they set off on a sunset horseback ride. As the sun dipped low, they came across a heart of flowers tucked into the sand. There, in the quiet of the desert, Devin got down on one knee and shared his heart. While they love a quiet moment under the stars, everyone knows The Davises truly live for a house party full of karaoke, laughter, and their favorite people. They can’t wait to bring that same energy to Léal Vineyards and start this next chapter with all of you!

We can’t wait to see everyone dressed to impress! The dress code for our big day is cocktail. We encourage you to wear what makes you feel your best—whether that’s a sharp suit or a favorite cocktail dress. This is a summer wedding—the ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be a covered tent outdoors, so be mindful if you run warm.We do kindly ask that you leave the white, ivory, cream, and pale 'almost-white' shades (like light blush or ecru) to the bride for the day. Any other color or pattern that fits your personal style is more than welcome—but please do not wear white or white-like colors.A Note on Comfort &amp; The After-Party: We want you on the dance floor all night! Please feel free to bring a pair of comfy shoes to swap into for the reception and after party.

Getting here

Hi everyone! As you plan your route to the venue, please give yourselves extra time. FIFA-related events are happening locally, which means heavier traffic than usual in the area, plus several nearby roads are one-way, which can create standstill conditions if you hit them at the wrong time. We’d love for everyone to arrive relaxed and on time, so our recommendation: leave earlier than you think you need to, and check your GPS for live traffic before heading out. A little extra cushion now means no stress later!See you soon!

Alternative Stays If you prefer a more "Rooted" home-away-from-home experience, we highly recommend checking Airbnb or VRBO. Nearby cities to search include Hollister, San Juan Bautista, Gilroy, and Morgan Hill. For those who want to stay closer to the heart of the Bay Area while still being within reach of the wedding, San Jose is a great option. It is about a 45-minute drive from the venue and offers plenty of dining and city life.

Flights & Getting Around

For those flying in to join the celebration, there are three main airport options: San Jose Mineta International (SJC): ~45 minutes away. Oakland International (OAK): ~1 hour 15 minutes away. (An easy-in, easy-out option!) San Francisco International (SFO): ~1.5 hours away. A Note on Safety: To ensure your trip is stress-free, please be mindful and never leave luggage or valuables inside your rental car while parked at the airport or at any stops on your way to the hotel.

Getting to Léal Vineyards

The ceremony and reception will be held at Léal Vineyards in Hollister, CA. The main winery and tasting room is located at 300 Maranatha Dr, Hollister, CA 95023. The wedding will be at the Lavánda event tent, situated among the 50-acre estate. Parking: Ample free parking is available on-site. On-Site Transport: Once you arrive, look for the venue's golf carts! Friendly staff will be available to shuttle you across the grounds.

For Nature Lovers

Pinnacles National Park (Hollister): The closest National Park to our venue and a true hidden gem. Hike through the talus caves or keep an eye out for the majestic California Condors. Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park (Oakland): For a more local "Rooted" experience, explore miles of trails tucked away in the Oakland Hills. Mount Tamalpais: Drive to the East Peak for a "Regal" 360-degree view of the entire Bay Area and the Pacific Ocean. Muir Woods National Monument: Located just north of SF, this park protects some of the last remaining ancient coastal redwoods in the world. Pro tip: Reservations are required!

San Francisco: The "Regal" Landmarks & Our First Date

The Golden Gate Bridge: A world-famous icon you can walk or bike across to take in the views of the Marin Headlands. Alcatraz Island: Take a ferry from Pier 33 to explore thehistoric federal prison. We recommend booking your tour well in advance! Cable Cars: A classic SF experience; catch a ride on a moving National Historic Landmark through the city's famous hills. La Mar Cocina Peruana: Visit the beautiful waterfront for incredible ceviche at the spot where we had our very first real date!

Oakland: The "Town" Spirit & Favorite Eats

Ten Seconds Yunnan Rice Noodle: One of our go-to spots for a delicious, comforting bowl of noodles. (San Leandro) Jack London Square: Explore the waterfront and stop by Heinold’s First and Last Chance Saloon, which was built from the timbers of an old whaling ship. Oakland Museum of California (OMCA): A beautiful space dedicated to the art, history, and natural sciences of the state. Lake Merritt: The "Jewel of Oakland." It's the perfect 3.4-mile loop for a sunny afternoon stroll.

Local Flavor: Pleasanton, Emeryville & Beyond

Townhouse (Emeryville): A fantastic place for a "Regal" yet rustic meal in a historic building—one of our favorites for a special night out. Berkeley Bowl: If you’re near Berkeley, you have to experience our favorite grocery store! It’s legendary for its produce and local finds. Oyó (Pleasanton): We love this spot for its unique and vibrant South American and Caribbean-inspired flavors.
